| Axiom: a self-evident truth. Axiom Entertainment was founded by Mike Moran and Billy Callahan as a manifestation of their mutual self-evident passion: a love of performing. Billy and Mike met and became friends during their competitive gymnastics career in New England, and their friendship continued to grow throughout their collegiate gymnastics careers at the University of Minnesota and Temple University. They share a strong belief in living life to the fullest by continually pushing themselves to the limit. They rely on each other for both support and friendly competition. Upon retiring from gymnastics, Billy and Mike set their sights on new goals and began to actively pursue careers in performance acrobatics. Taking advantage of their physical talents and strong friendship, they have developed two acts that embody strength, balance, skill and teamwork. As professional acrobats, they strive to take their acts to new heights of physical and artistic performance. Axiom has performed internationally in musicals, plays, industrial and corporate events, night clubs, special events and parties. |

BILLY CALLAHAN began his acrobatic career as a child by taking gymnastics in his hometown of Marshfield, Massachusetts where he was coached by David Ellis. He went on to become a Junior National Team Member and continued to compete on the elite level at multiple USA National Championships. Billy received a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota where he earned numerous honors at Big Ten Championships and NCAA National Championships. He also found time to star in a few local commercials in Minneapolis and discovered his love for entertaining crowds big and small. Upon finishing school, he moved to NYC to pursue a performing career while continuing to train competitive gymnastics under Hector Salazaar. Billy made his professional debut by landing a spot in Madonna’s 2006 European Confessions Tour as a “parkour” performer where he was literally jumping and bouncing off walls and scaffolding. Shortly after returning from the tour, Billy became a regular stunt double for “The Conan O’Brien Show” and most notably was seen flipping across the stage as Zach Braf. After officially “retiring” from competitive gymnastics, Billy became a principle performer with Axiom Entertainment. His exceptional physical strength, flexibility and endurance have made him the ideal hand balancing partner and acrobat with Axiom. His addition to Axiom has helped make it one of the most sought after entertainment companies in NYC, the US and internationally. |
